The flowers are starting to bloom, and the sun is peeking out after a long winter. Your guests are looking forward to warmer weather, and because you planned a spring wedding, they’ll be counting down to it with you.Â
We know wedding planning can feel overwhelming, so we are breaking down easy steps to plan your theme. If you’re looking for inspiration, scroll down to see some beautiful spring weddings we’ve coordinated!
Start With a Mood Board. Before you get lost in the details, think about the vibe you want your wedding to have and how you want your guests to feel. Make Pinterest your best friend.
Choose Your Color Palette. Think of 2 or 3 main colors that complement each other. Pastels like blush, lilac, and mint are classic. Soft neutrals with pops of bold florals feel modern. Make sure your colors flow across everything, from flowers to table decor and stationery.
Think About Flowers and Decor. Nothing says spring wedding like seasonal flowers. Consider tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, crocuses, peonies, and lilacs. Think about how you will use them in bouquets, centerpieces, or garlands.
Weave Your Palette and Flowers Into the Details. Bring your theme into the small touches. Pastel glassware, flowers on the cake, and cocktail napkins that match your floral theme. Tablecloths, soft textures, and subtle floral prints can reinforce your spring theme.
Make It YOURS. At the end of the day, your wedding should feel like you. Don’t get too caught up in trends. Focus on what makes you happy.
