Wedding days can be stressful, especially when you’re focused on the big things. It’s the small logistics that tend to fall through the cracks.

Here are 10 things to consider before your wedding day, before it’s too late.

1. Who’s handling vendor deliveries and setup?

If this isn’t covered, everything else snowballs. Vendors need direction, access, and confirmation on arrival.

2. Who’s returning rentals or coordinating next-day pickup?

Rental deadlines matter, and this is often forgotten once the night ends.

3. Who’s handling vendor tips and final payments?

This is time-sensitive and hard to fix once vendors leave.

4. Who’s moving decor and florals from the ceremony to the reception?

If you’re reusing items, someone needs to be assigned — not assumed.

5. Who is steaming linens after they’re unpacked and placed?

Linens should be unpacked and on tables before steaming to avoid deep wrinkles and creases.

6. Have vendor meals been set aside and scheduled?

Make sure your caterer knows when and where vendor meals should be served.

7. Who’s lighting the reception candles and when?

Too early and candles melt down. Too late, and guests sit down in low lighting.

8. Who’s making sure the wedding party has drinks for toasts?

Reception timelines move fast, and there’s rarely time to grab drinks once speeches begin.

9. Who’s bustling your dress before the reception?

Bustling takes practice. Decide who’s responsible and walk through it ahead of time.

10. Have snacks or food been planned while getting ready?

Helpful and appreciated, but doesn’t derail the day if missed.
